Safety is a 24/7 commitment. That commitment starts with you on a personal level. You don’t show up to work and become a safety-minded person. It has to be a part of who you are. We want each employee at Pace to create a Personal Safety Pledge by the end of this year. A Personal Safety Pledge is where you look at your life and determine things that you do regularly that are unsafe and write them down. Share your personal safety pledge with family, friends, and co-workers. By caring for and holding each other accountable we will create a safety 24/7 culture.
Pace is working to improve our Health and Wellness Culture to a more proactive one. So many people wait until they have a medical emergency and just react to health and wellness. We want to strive to be proactive with Health Risk Assessments (HRAs), wellness checks, developing an active life style, and helping our family members in stopping tobacco use. It only takes a little effort to become proactive in your health.
