Founded in 1947, the Grafton Division is comprised of four facilities with 400,000 square feet of manufacturing space and 100,000 square feet of warehouse space. We pride ourselves as a solutions provider streamlining the supply chain with American made, quality products at a globally competitive price.

The Grafton Division is an ISO certified leader in the manufacture of complex high pressure die castings, machining, painting, polishing, testing, and assembly providing exceptional quality and value to our customers.

Manufacturing:
  

In 2008, the Grafton Division began an extensive Lean journey involving both manufacturing and support operations. The introduction and reorganization into manufacturing and support Value Streams has been the driving force behind the improvements in delivery, product flow, and PPM. The implementation of Value Streams has removed departmental boundaries and the Value Stream Mapping Events have eliminated the physical barriers to improve product flow and reduce waste.

As the result of our lean journey, we have eliminated individual offices that were located throughout the facility and have created an office complex with "bull pen" seating which has significantly improved the communication and team work within the organization. These offices contain the Value Streams as well as the service and support operations.

The culture of discipline is evident in every aspect of our operation beginning with the receipt of a customer's request for quotation and continues through to the customer's receipt of product over the duration of the program.
