All areas of our business are staffed with associates possessing the experience and knowledge to satisfy the requirements of the most challenging projects. By the end of 2009, many of those associates will be organized into Value Streams, allowing them to specialize in specific market segments and further enhancing our customers' "Harrison Experience."
Our modern die casting machines produce high quality castings 24 hours a day, utilizing computerized process monitoring to maintain consistency around the clock. Our experienced Machine Operators, Process Control Technicians and Quality Personnel all work together to ensure our casting machine output meets or exceeds industry standards and customer specifications.
We perform a variety of secondary operations such as sanding, milling, drilling, tapping and assembly; as well as working with several top notch commercial painters. This portfolio of capabilities allows us to provide our customers with complete products, ready for use.
Our Business Excellence initiative, founded on Lean Manufacturing principles, is driving us to complete as much work as possible right at the machine. What is not finished at the machine typically won’t travel far before completion. This minimizes the waste associated with extra handling and allows us to offer our customers better value for their purchasing dollar.
